A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Posted on December 8, 2017 by MaggieFebruary 1, 2018

At present, the most pressing on our agenda is the upcoming 2018 INC Annual Neighborhood Awards Dinner. We are still actively seeking volunteers for the dinner committee and if you would like to help, we’d welcome you. In the remaining few months leading up to the elections, take time to discuss among yourselves the person you’d wish to see as President moving forward.

Message from the President Feb 2017

Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Posted on February 1, 2017 by MaggieApril 7, 2017

We have an opportunity for public engagement that creates instead of resists. Our city has a store of energy in our citizens that can be used to grow and motivate, not just struggle and repel. As city representatives and neighborhood leaders we have the organization to turn their energy and motivation into improvements and community growth. The power of sustainable outreach and engagement comes from a willingness and ability to ask for their involvement

Message From The President Dec 2017

Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Posted on December 29, 2016 by MaggieApril 7, 2017

The holidays are a time for giving and a time for sharing. They are such an important time for Denver registered neighborhood organizations because they help us solidify our bonds of friendship and keep us going in these cold, dark months. The potlucks we organize and the people we share the season with are those who will sustain us and help us the rest of the year. I hope your holidays were warm and well-attended.

Presidents Message October 27, 2016

Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Posted on October 27, 2016 by MaggieNovember 14, 2016

It is this need for knowledge sharing and exposure to the cities important topics that is a pillar of importance for the Denver INC and for your membership in our Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation. When representatives from your RNO attend our INC committee meetings and our delegate meetings, you have a great opportunity to keep up with the changes that the city government is making. INC creates the opportunity to participate in the decision making process and to influence the decisions that are made.

Presidents Message August 2016

Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Posted on August 4, 2016 by MaggieSeptember 27, 2016

Hello my fellow neighborhood and civic leaders. I hope you have been enjoying a beautiful Denver summer. When I think of what makes Registered Neighborhood Organizations so important for Denver, I think of all the ways that RNOs create community and how what makes Denver great is rooted in the diverse communities that exist within it. RNOs are filled with active citizens who care about the people they live with and about the quality of life that exists for themselves and their neighbors.

One way RNOs create community is by organizing and presenting events all over the city. In the summer these events are usually outdoors and well attended by the neighbors who live around them. We have fairs and festivals like the People’s Fair, the Harvey Park Festival, and the Mayfair Dog Days.

Presidents Message June 2016

Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Posted on May 28, 2016 by MaggieNovember 19, 2016

Hello again my fellow neighborhood and city leaders, here we are in Denver 2016; I hope it’s going well for you and your communities as we begin the summer. As we take some time, during the Memorial Day weekend, to celebrate the sacrifices and mourn the ultimate sacrifices that our forbearers made to sustain our country, I am writing to tell you that the need for active citizens who are willing to give of themselves to better our city and our nation is as relevant today as it has ever been in our fair city.
